So what's this Paintseal all about?

Ok, in laymans terms, If you were to look at your exterior paint surface , you would see that there are tiny peaks and troughs in the exterior surface. Over time toughened grime and impurities become embedded into to troughs, in most cases the only way to fully remove this grime is by using abrasive cleaning products. The use of these eventually wear down the exterior surface which leads to the appearance of dull and flat looking paintwork.

What does Paintseal Direct protective coatings do?
When Paintseal protective products are professionally applied (by one of our experts) to the exterior, it will fill in those troughs with a unique, tough, transparent layer which bonds to the exterior surface.

It leaves a super smooth finish which will protect and lock in the original gloss. Making cleaning so much easier and will enhance the resale value of your caravan, motorhome, boat, etc.

So what so special about our products?

The paint sealant that we use here at Paintseal Direct is a synthetic flouropolymer of tetraflouroethylene or polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) which is far more commonly known as teflon. Its the stuff that your non-stick pans are coated in, and it gives a stunning shine, as well as dispersing water. Water or oil based products cannot penetrate it because of the high electronegativity of the flourine.

Is it a waste of money?

Well there are always people out there who will say it is! What we say is that if you look at a caravan or motorhome etc. that has our Paintseal product on and compare to one that hasn't, you will instantly see and feel the difference. Look at them  in a few years, and you will DEFINITELY see the difference! It can also enhance the resale value. There are people who say that any wax would have the same result, but our argument is that this ISN'T a wax, its a PTFE (teflon) coating, and its guaranteed for up to 5 years on new units, so wouldn't you rather spend your time enjoying yourself rather than polishing/waxing every weekend? 

But PTFE (Teflon) won't stick to my exterior will it?

It certainly will!
There are many variants of PTFE (teflon), including coatings for waterproof jackets, and even the Millenium Dome! The Paintseal sealant we use  bonds to your exterior surface very well and does not need to be heated to very high temperatures in order for us to apply it.

So I'll never have to wash it again?

Sorry, but yes you will! The best bit about Paintseal is that it makes it FAR easier than ever before! The dirt sits on top of the exterior coating, so there is no scrubbing or rubbing to get off those stubborn black streaks - just a wipe will take off most dirt, and for the really stubborn stuff - tar, bird lime, etc there is a range of aftercare products that you can use.

Will it affect the resale value?

Very definitely yes! If it has had our Paintseal protection on, then it is more desirable to the next person to buy, it  is likely to attract a higher price due the overall look of it.
